Skiing, Boarding and snow around the world

Flight back to the UK wasn’t too bad. We actually landed at Gatwick on time…

Two points:

  1. Mark Warners timing for getting us to the flight was a bit off.

We arrived at the ‘charter terminal’ at Geneva Airport around 8:45 am for a 10:25 am flight. By the time we had checked-in, been through security, and taken the long walk to the plane (including a bus trip between terminals) we only just made it. We were the last to get on to the plane.

  1. Geneva Airport efficiency.

The distance from the airport gate, and the plane, was all of 50 meters, and yet the Swiss Airport Authority insisted on loading us on to a coach to drive the distance. We then stood on the ‘tarmac’ for 10 minutes, at the bottom of the plane steps, whilst we waited to board.
