Christmas ski trip

Decided to go skiing over Christmas… this presents two problems…

Where to go… and which company to use?

In the past I have planned numerous ski trips for myself and friends. They have been a mixture of typical package deal, and ‘self-package’ where we have decided on a resort and then but flights and hotel together.

In the past I would have hit the flight sites (Expedia, hlx, LastMinute, Thomson, KLM, Airline Network, and Opodo) and also the car hire sites (EasyCar, ebooker, Expedia, Holiday Autos, LastMinute.com, Sixt, Thrifty, Travelocity, British Airways Car Hire in Europe, and Opodo). For accommodation I would have looked at ebooker, Expedia, Hotel Connect, hotels.com, Thomson Hotels, and LastMinute.

I have done ‘solo’ trips in the past where I have gone to meet up with friends skiing at a particular resort. However, this trip is different. No friends at the resort… no friends to travel with as they have ‘family commitments’, and as it will be over Christmas I don’t want to be stuck in a hotel on my own. That would be sad….

So, time for some research….
