Skiing on Christmas day is always different, and at the same time, always the same. Skiing is the same, the mountain is the same, and in the case of Courmayeur all the restaurants were open. What is different is it is Christmas day…

Finally the main cable car in the town is open – so no more long (20 miunte) walks to the other lift.

Just spent the evening watching Santa on Google – good fun.

Good news on the cable car… it has been confirmed it will be running on Christmas day. Apparently they have been testing it all day.
