Skiing, Boarding and snow around the world

Start of my second, and last, ski trip this year in Europe. This time I am off to Les Deux Alpes in France for 3 days of skiing with friends. This trip is going to be interesting as I usually ski with friends of my own age but on this trip I will be skiing with a friend and his family (husband, wife and three kids all under the age of 10).

So why Les Deuz Alpes? Basically, that is where my friend has decided to go. Plus, I have not skied in that area of France so it will be a useful trip to collect data for theSnowSite.

Trip from the UK should be fairly easy. Fly from the UK to Geneva, pick up a hire car and then drive the 200 km to the ski resort. All the bookings (flights and car-hire) were done through Opodo, and the hotel was tracked down by searching the web for hotels in Les Deux Alpes.

One slight change this trip. Instead of using a Garmin Quest 2 GPS Unit (Amazon Link) for ‘in-car’ navigation, I will be trying out a TomTom One Europe (Amazon Link).
