Skiing, Boarding and snow around the world

Another fantastic day. Light dusting of snow overnight and clear blue skies again with a few clouds.

Piste conditions were excellent again. They do such a good job.

Headed over to the Colfosco area on the two way lift. Passed the ‘trailer park’ still full of camper vans.

Corvara to Colfosco Lift

The ‘two-way’ lift from Corvara to Colfosco. This lift is used in both directions for skiers to move between Corvara and Colfosco.

Skiing was excellent and we got in a series of good runs before stopping for coffee. After coffee we skied over to Col Alt lift (it is odd but the Col Alt area has many more restaurants that around the Boe lift from Corvara or even over towards Colfosco).

In the afternoon the weather closed in and it started to snow.

One important fact we discovered today. We thought the free ski bus (www.sad.it) covered the whole ‘Sellaronda’ area (see earlier post of skiing the Sellaronda – a great day out!). However, it does not, it only covers Corvara.
