Three Dimensional Ski Maps

This is pretty cool….

The other day I came across the site 3dskimaps.com which offers, as the name suggests, 3d ski maps of some ski resorts in the US.

Unfortunately the site requires that you are running Windows Internet Explorer with a plugin called ‘Flux Player’ from MediaMachines (download the plugin) installed to get the full benefit of the maps. However, there are some ’static’ images of some of the ski areas and below I have included one of Killington:
