Austria – no snow!

Worrying story in todays Guardian (UK) newspaper, it appears that the lack of snow in Austria has caused a biathlon event this weekend in Hochfilzen to be cancelled due to a lack of snow.

This seems to becoming a regular thing. The season seems to be starting later and later each year. Snow fall seems to be less predictable and ski seasons shorter.
