Skiing, Boarding and snow around the world

I don’t know why but I love stories like this….

Guardian Unlimited | Piano found on Britain’s highest mountain

Why would anyone take a piano up Ben Nevis?

Now, Ben Nevis may not be the toughest climb in the world (only 4,406 ft high, with the path starting around 80 ft above sea level) but it is still a good/tough hike. I have done the hill twice (the ‘hard way’ – go half-way up the ‘tourist path’ and then drop down in to the valley below the north face, climb up the far side and go along the arret/ridge to the top) and just can’t imagine getting up there with a piano!
