Day eight – Saalbach Ski Trip – Austria
Up at 8 am, breakfast and off in the car to Munich airport which is about 45 minutes drive from the centre of Munich.
We arrived at the airport three hours before the flight, which was lucky as the queue at the Lufthansa checkin was unbelievable. After the farce of picking up the hire car from Hertz (over an hour wait) and the 40 min wait to checkin I think I will remember Munich Airport as the airport of the never-ending wait.
Flight back with Lufthansa was OK and actually got back to Heathrow 30 minutes early.
End of another ski trip…..
