This is a classic skiing trip to the Chamonix Valley

I am on day 6 of my skiing holiday to the Chamonix Valley. I only managed to ski 2 days before I injured my leg. For the last 4 days I have been sitting around, doing some reading and working on the thesnowsite.com. The last time I had such a long non-skiing skiing trip was when I went to Borovets, Bulgaria and there was no snow…. (accept on the last night when it chucked it down, which meant the main airport was closed and we had an 8 hour bus transfer to an ‘alternative’ airport)

Popped out for lunch at Le Delice Restaurant in Les Houches. Nice little place. Run by some Brits. Good food, lousy service. One good point is they have free wireless network. You have to let the staff know you want to use it as they have to ‘activate’ the network for your computer. The network was surprisingly fast…
