Title says it all. A quiet one for me this year as my left leg prevents me from really going out. It is also quiet as my ‘ski buddy’ has just fallen asleep on the sofa with Freddie the Jack Russell. I guess they won’t be ‘hearing the bells’.

I have just woken up and…

The leg is really, really painful, and I am unable to put any weight on it. Looks like I will need a hospital visit. Damn…

I don’t think anything is broken, I just can’t put any weight on the leg. I definitely won’t be skiing again this trip…. bum…

On day two we decided to ski St. Gervais.

Up at 4:30 am, showered, and on the road by 5 am for a 90 minute trip to Dover to catch a ferry to France for the long drive to Chamonix / Les Houches.

’nuff said really!

Another Christmas in the UK and no snow. However, it looks like we may get some snow for Boxing day (26th December), or the 27th/28th for when we start our ‘road-trip’ to Chamonix / Les Houches.

This morning I received a phone call from one of my friends, who was driving down to Chamonix, to say he couldn’t make the trip.
