Skiing, Boarding and snow around the world

The weather in St Anton was terrible…. Snowed all but 1.5 days. Also very cold. However, the conditions were great and on the one clear day we did get I had a blast.

As ever the Apres ski in St Anton was unbelievable. The Mooserwirt was outstanding (however, it was so cold that my beer actually frosted over (see earlier post)! The Underground (see earlier post) was equally good with a very lively ‘three piece’ band playing ‘all the hits you like to sing’.

The chalet (Pias), in terms of room size and food, was a major disappointment (see earlier post).

I would definitely go back to St Anton. The skiing was very good and challenging. Next time I go I will pack extra thermal underwear and a spare liver.

Update: A gallery of photos for St Anton is now available.
